wiring diagram for merc 250E 1971

Does anybody have a wiring driagram for a 250E?
Trying to figure out the wiring,
replacing bad wires and something is up with the voltage regulator.
Keep burning out head lights.

I can scan a wiring diagram but I would have to email it to you.
My manual says if trouble shooting premature headlight failure check for a short in the taillight harness? Yellow wire. Also mentions a varistor on the light switch if you have 2 headlights.
