The easiest way to identify is the air cooled Twister Tach goes to 10,000 rpm and the Liquid Cooled Tack goes to 12,000 rpm on the dial.

Hi I have a 76 tt which im thinking about switching motors in.. I have a 440 free air with sunburst heads. Its the ss series motor which I heard isn't as good.. im wondering if I could use the lower end on my 440 fan and bolt the jugs and heads from the free air on it..does anyone know if the lower...

just picked up a 1975 644 MKII. This thing is almost perfect, it has 21 miles and was never registered. It has sat since new so I have to rebuild the carbs. You want to get all the gas out of the sump. There are 2 10mm bolts, that act as drains, at the lowest point of the block. These should be removed. The engine should be pulled over several times with the key off to push the gas/water out of the block and then let sit with the bolts out overnight. Re...

Pull block drain bolts make sure crank area is not full of fuel.
Do you have spark under compression of just when the plugs are sitting on the cylinders?
With Gas off see if it will pop with some starting fluid.
